Diffraction

Commissioned by Catalano, Diffraction extends research begun during her Master's at Chelsea College of Art & Design into the process of transformation, and how it happens in space and through time.

Light is materialised as it passes through the slabs of ice, the projected colours provoking a spatial sense and an emotional response. The movement of the sun and the melting of the ice are representative of the passing of time.
